DEVELOPMENT

Facilitation and Team Development

All of our Associates are experienced Facilitators who support groups, or teams of varying sizes, in thinking and working through a range of organisational challenges which they need to address.

Our approach to team development will will vary depending on your needs as an organisation. However, we always begin with a ‘diagnostic’ meeting, talking with you as our client, to understand where you are now, your current issues/challenges and your aspirations for the future.

By working with you to clarify what is required, we are then able to design and deliver the appropriate interventions; these may involve not only working with the team, but also on a 1-1 basis with individuals within the team.

Part of working with you as a team would be to agree how you are going to embed the necessary changes and to provide any further support you might need in doing this. Typically, we would have a follow up session a number of months down the track, to ensure that momentum has been maintained and to agree a plan for the future.

The work we have done with teams has included:

  • Working with teams to develop their vision, values and strategy
  • Enabling individuals to get to know each other better, both in terms of their roles and personal styles/approaches, in order to develop more effective relationships and way of working.
  • Supporting teams through periods of organsational change

Coach Skills Training

Coaching skills are increasingly being recognised as key to success in both leadership and managerial roles and therefore having a real ‘commercial’ purpose.

Organisations might be looking to support their managers in developing the skills needed to have more coaching ‘conversations’. Equally, they might be looking to develop an internal team of coaches to support the organisation in moving towards more of a coaching culture.

The training we offer is a mix of theoretical input and practical application, which is engaging, stimulating and fun.  Delegates come away with a clear understanding of coaching principles and benefits, the key skills and competencies needed and feeling better equipped to more effectively develop the individuals that work for them.

Louise is an experienced Coach skills trainer who has developed and run both accredited (Institute of Leadership and management) and non-accredited coach skills programmes.
