Executive and Career Coaching forms a significant part of Lesley’s portfolio and she has had a transformational effect through coaching many senior leaders executive and non executive, middle managers and front line staff. She has worked nationally and internationally facilitating and coaching boards and senior teams in the voluntary and public sector working in complex environments. She is a Visiting Fellow of Sheffield Hallam University Business School and has lectured on the Organisational Development MSc courses. Lesley has designed and delivered leadership and coaching programmes that have delivered considerable change in behaviours of the participants.
Lesley’s clients have described her style as quietly transformational. She has a strong outcome orientation and is genuinely interested in people. She works holistically with her clients, is result focused, challenging yet supportive. Lesley takes the view that her clients are experts of their world and have the capability of achieving more than they think. She take an appreciative and strengths based approach and is particularly interested in sustainable behaviour and attitudinal change that will deliver improved performance and wellbeing for her clients.

A recent development programme designed and delivered by Lesley and colleagues was externally evaluated by University of Nottingham’s Centre for Health Innovation, Learning and Leadership and delivered the following measurable impact for the participant GP participants by the end of the programme:
- 100% had changed the way they were working
- 93% had improved relationships with existing partners and collaborators
- 80% had stepped into new formal/informal leadership roles
Previously Lesley has held significant board level executive positions including; Director, Mencap, Director, Weston Park Cancer Charity, and Regional Director for Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now CRUK). She led significant teams and built collaboration with over 1000 local independent charity members. She has had held Board level positions in large, complex organisations in the NHS and in social care related third sector roles, coupled with a genuine interest in the local and national health agenda. Her numerous Non- Executive and Executive Board level roles have been in health and until recently Lesley was Independent Chair of the Plan Delivery Group, 21st Century Joined Up Care programme in North Derbyshire.
